Little Italy flourished in the 1920s as New York's residential neighborhood of choice for new immigrants, and is now a hub for Italian dining and shopping options in Lower Manhattan. Largely absorbed by Chinatown in recent decades, the section of Mulberry Street between Canal Street and Broome Street remains as Italian as the original.
