Damaged in the September 11th attacks, this is a private park that is open to the public. In September 2011, the park gained notoriety as the starting place of the Occupy Wall Street protests. Formerly stark and lifeless, the 33,000 square foot park now is an urban oasis with over 50 shade trees. Formerly Liberty Plaza Park.
